Just for the Big 10 fan
Posted: Thu Dec 14, 2006 4:51 pmI would put money on the Big 10 losing every bowl game. They have some real stiff competition. When Arkansas takes out wisconsin and michigan gets ripped a new one by USC, you should probably start worrying about Florida beating OSU. That's the only game I see you really having a chance in...don't think for five seconds that that sorry sack of s from Iowa is coming down here and getting a win against the horns. Where exactly do you expect to win other than the National title game???? I'm sorry, but top to bottom the Big 12 and SEC are much better and being a follower of a mid-major conference team I hate them both. You could call this regional bias, but the bowls will no doubt show that I'm right. If I was a betting man I'd go talk to a few north midwest yankees and make a killing on these bowls.
Sorry, for all you loyal pony fans who don't care to read this post. Just had to go on a rant. I can't stand this Big 10 bias that seems to have swept the nation (other than of course in the case of Michigan's national title hopes...but really...that team has had more political wins than any other team ever). I am a Notre Dame supporter as well and I am sickened by our overrating because of our Big 10 opponents. Boise State could take out Michigan State, Purdue and Penn State no problem....i cannot believe that Penn State team is ranked....
