After reading in today's DMN about all of the "perks" our next door neighbor TCU will be receiving for their 8th bowl in 9 years....... then reading, how our egghead friends at tiny Rice has risen from one of the worst football teams modern man has ever laid eyes on, to a bowl team in ONE season!........ my blood pressure going through the roof!!! 56 of 119 are going bowling??? and with this tailor made softball schedule, we are once again sitting at home! Forget the valium......pass the qualudes!!!

Remember not to drink and pop. Bad news you bear.

Sure hope that the REd Shirt class helps some.

The whole season would have been ( don't say a word about would have ) different IF we had a QB sneak or a 1 yard dive play.

Hell I saw the dive play. Maybe we need to grow some balls and run the appropriate play.

3 rd and 19. Moot point if we get 4 1 yard plays.

Don't get sucked into the politics of envy. We did well this year and need to enjoy it. Looking forward to seeing what Justin will do next year to take us over the top. Here's hoping he finds plenty of time to get it to Sanders and VChase.

Merry Christmas everyone!

Well said, ponyboy. Yeah, we're disappointed with the way the year ended, but the improvement continued. Here's hoping Willis spends the whole offseason throwing to ALL of his receivers so much he has the same chemistry and timing with them as he does with Sanders.

True, we lost to three Texas teams we beat last year. BUT we beat three non-Texas teams we lost to last year: Tulane, Marshall, and Tulsa.

I'd say we did not improve from last year. But we did witness the amazing emergence of someone who, knock on wood, ought to be our starting QB for the next three years. And his buddy Sanders. We have a threat at QB for the first time since Ramon. There's plenty of room for optimism.

It's an inside joke. ponyboy is free to spout all the sunshine he desires, subject to getting a thread deleted, of course.

I did not get the thread deleted, jt. I am guessing your response did.

It's not about us. It's about SMU. Care to comment on my statement above? Do you share my optimism about the future with Justin at the QB position?
