the Liberty Bowl will have the feel of a home game for USC. They sold 13,000 before they knew where they were going to be playing. I hope Houston makes a good showing in that game and our conference champ doesn't get totally humiliated both on the field and in the stands

I'm not surprised. I know of at least 10 Rice alums going to NOLA for the game. Those guys are just as hungry, if not hungrier than us for a winner.

That may be true, but they are getting to eat, while we're still in the soup line

I saw a Rice undergrad and asked her if she was excited about Rice going to a bowl game. She said, "we are?, I think I heard something about that."

Maybe if you tell them that there's a pre-game dungeons and dragons tournament they'll show up in droves.
