In today's DMN in a story about how the Bush Library will bring changes to the Park Cities, Highland Park Mayor Pro Tem Andy Smith said that if SMU can funnel 30,000 fans into Gerald J. Ford Stadium for a three-hour football game, the community can figure out a way to accommodate library traffic.
"Thirty-thousand people are not going to visit the library all at once, I guarantee it," Mr. Smith said.
Note to Mr. Smith...it's been a long time since SMU had 30,000 fans at a football game!
