"Ooohhhh, so that's how a football crowd is supposed

to act / respond"!??! Attended the Liberty Bowl yesterday...South Carolina crowd:

-EVERYONE stood up when the band came on the field..screaming and yelling..
-EVERYONE knew the cheers and claps, and hand "signs"...
-I saw NO ONE telling anyone to "sit down, I can't see, or shut up, I can't hear"..
-You were almost ostracized if you did not stand up and cheer/clap/yell.
-No one had any obnoxious cow bells or horns...basic SEC blocking and tackling...use your hands and your mouth.
-Saw drunk sorority girls...and buzzed frat boys
-People actually wore USC shirts and hats...not your typical Polo slacks with matching "maroon shirt" crowd..
-Pre game was an inclusive event / activity....no prestense, just fun!
..and it was a VERY entertaining afternoon. Thanks for making the Liberty Bowl a success South Carolina!!
_and PS: Parade on Beale Street, Thursday afternoon, was freakin' PACKED!!
Long Live Don King.

I agree with all of your post except the 'obnoxious cowbells/horns'...some of us at Ford are using those devices to make up for the lack of noise/spirit by others who are too busy telling other Mustang fans to either sit down and/or shut up.

Looks like you got to see one of the more entertaining bowl games this year, FtoT.

Of all the places I've been, SC's fans are the most loyal, supportive, fanatical bunch I've ever been around. And talk about sunshiners...for the most part, they are the most optimistic bunch I've ever been around. Only program I know that could sell out an 80,000 seat stadium for every game during an 0-11 season. They are always looking forward to that next game or next season. Looks like Spurrier may be the guy who can get it done for them. That was an entertaining game, for sure.
