Too bad the sideline reporter blew it for him by saying "And now...you want to propose to your girlfriend, right?"

Talk about a fairy tale/cliche. Win the game, get the girl.

She was pretty smokin too.

I was amazed by that. Has to be one of the dumbest comments by a reporter ever.

You should have expected it, the game was on FOX of all networks.

FYI, her name was Chrissy Popadics...just that Id mention it considering the last name is funny and he popped the question to Popadics.

What nuclear physicist did Fox have roaming the sideline who couldn't figure out that Johnson probably wanted to bring it up himself?

I still can't believe i missed the game.

They should do away with sideline reporters altogether. I'm still waiting for just one to add something to a broadcast. Anything. To any broadcast. They're completely useless.

Just as a point of reference for all you liberal posters, there are bad reporters on all networks. Fox does not have a monopoly on them.

Didn't mean to suggest all bad reporters work for Fox (see: Musberger, Brent).

Fox just has a bunch of awful ones, and those on the sideline -- regardless of network -- all seem completely useless.
