Does anyone remember Don Denham?

He was a football player at SMU...probably played in the late 50s or early 60s. Just played there for 1 season, I believe. I met his son this afternoon. Unfortunately, Don recently passed away and his son doesn't know too much about his father's history on The Hilltop. I'm just trying to 'fill in the pieces' for him. Any help would be appreciated.

His son, Brian, believes that his father scored a winning TD in SMU's first ever-televised football game. I've contacted Brad Sutton at SMU for more info on this, which he's researching at this time.

Again, if anyone knew Don or knows his history at SMU, I'd appreciate a reply. Thanks!

Can't find his name listed among the lettermen and, if he played in the late 50s early 60s he missed the first televised SMU game by several seasons.

Thanks for your efforts, Rayburn. Unfortunately, he and his son were apparently not very close and the information his son provided me was cobbled together from other family members' memories. Again, thanks anyway.

Just out of curiosity...when was SMU's first televised game and who was the opponent and the final score?
