We need to get some song girls, just like the ones at USC.

They can stand behind the endzone in the bottom of the ponyshoe.

I'll gladly donate to support that cause...

go visit the blogger's page if you have any objections...

We need to get them from USC (fly'em in for games). It would take some Plus Size sweaters to cover up the fat rolls on some of the SMU girls.

Look, everyone agrees that the USC Song Girls are the hottest cheerleaders anywhere. And there's a lesson here. What do they wear, cute, well fitted long sleeve turtleneck sweaters and pleated skirts that actually cover the butt (except when they're twirling -- see case in point here: http://awfulannouncing.blogspot.com/2007/01/brent-musburger-calls-out-blogs-and-usc.html -- and you're welcome, gentlemen who haven't seen this yet)? Less (skin that is) is apparently more.

Yet rather than take a cue from the Song Girls, most cheerleading squads, including our own, insist on wearing tiny, ill-fitting (even on the smallest of girls), unflattering, needing-constant-adjustment low rise micro mini skirts with high rise tops. I just don't get it. Can we just say NO to the ever-shrinking cheerleader outfit?

Of course not. The uniforms are fine. What we need are hotter chicks to fill them.

Maybe we should get some new ones. They must be near 40 by now.

Of course, some of those USC gals don't know who they're cheering for sometimes!

Nice altered photograph. What would we do without Photoshop?

Exactly. Thank goodness they took the time to alter the two girls on the left by turning their heads to look a their friend and putting the "what a dumb [deleted]" look on their faces.

Is that LonghornFan68 sitting at about the middle of the photo in the stands with his hand raised, too? ;)
