50 Most Loathesome People in College Football

If you have a sense of humor, you should read some of the tounge in cheek college football blogs like www.edsbs.com (Every Day Should Be Saturday). EDSBS always has tons of fun stories, links, and comments, one of which was to another blog listing the 50 most loathesome people in college football.

Craig James is #42.

42. Craig James
Charges: A cross between the high-school class clown and the [deleted] uncle who embarrasses you at family gatherings and then chides you for not having a sense of humor, the former tailback trivializes games with his mere presence. Greedily sucks the gravitas out of even the most important games by veering off into barely relevant tangents and stories of his days at SMU; God forbid he gets assigned a lesser-conference game, which he'll probably just ignore entirely so that he can turn the whole thing into his own personal open-mic night at the Improv. Played for SMU during what would've been the height of the booster scandal that later earned the Mustangs the NCAA death penalty, yet somehow nobody ever asks him about this.
Exhibit A: Made even hulking man-child Aaron Taylor look like the pinnacle of wisdom and conscientiousness when they were paired up in ABC's studio last season.
Sentence: Knocked back to a newly formed Lincoln Financial "B" team alongside play-by-play announcer Chuck Amato and sideline reporter Star Jones.

Can't argue with the other two, but I was not top 25? Was I at least in "others receiving votes"?

You lose credit for not having rose colored expectations. Otherwise I sure you could rate with the greatest of loathesome people. By the way should I get you a seat for the awards ceremony if there is one or will you be sitting in someone elses?

JT, as a former Enron accountant my numbers were mixed up. You were actually number 11

Like the NY Athletic Club, they're only bringing in the top three loathes for the ceremony this year. I'm boycotting it anyway, it's all controlled by the NE media and I get no exposure there.

UT's DeLOSS Dodds who broke up the storied SWC should be #1.

Closely followed at #2, the ncaa who is footBALLess :!: Except when
picking on the little guys.

The bronze medal goes to the TV network, pretty sure ABC, who started
the BCS.

Actually, I think it's a 3 way tie for #1 :!: :!: :!:
