If the Gators go on to thump Ohio State as they appear to be doing...

With USC beating Michigan...

With Boise beating the Sooners...

could anyone have scripted a better bowl season to show what a farce the BCS really is?

LET 'EM PLAY.

I wouldnt exactly call it a farce but I would say that Boise is deserving of some split votes for a outside National Title.

I still think the BCS got the title game right.

I think it definitely proves there is more to football than sportswriters' and athletes' opinions and computer scoring algorithms. GO GATORS

yes but if you do away with those, then you'll never have a chance of setting up an established playoff system.

Computers and pollsters are still going to have to vote in teams if or when a playoff is created.

Got to love the ESPN commentators saying that this game proves without a doubt that there needs to be a playoff system

People only say things like that because they put $$$ on a losing team. Im sure if there was a playoff system this year it would have ended up pitting UF vs OSU.

Statistically that statement isn't true.

But a playoff would shake out the lesser teams, compensating [somewhat] for the inaccuracy of the computering and pollsters.

We needed at least one more game this year...I think in the next three years we are going to get our +1 system and see if that improves things.

So, of the BCS champions to date, who do you think doesn't deserve their title?

They got 1 first place vote in the AP poll.
