I like the second option of having the BCS championship playoff after all the bowl games. Therefore the bowls are played and the best teams after that play for the NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP

They need something. Something other than this crappy system they have now. But them again, let the good teams get screwed for now. I don't care until it's us.
Sir, shooting-star, sir.
Frosh 2005 (TEN YEARS AGO!?!) The original Heavy Metal.
The current system is almost perfect. Not quite as good as the previous system, but pretty much what all college football fans need. If it weren’t for the current mess of a system, what else would we have to talk about till next fall?
This way, we can argue for hours, days, months who was the 'real;' national champ and who got 'screwed'. And the beauty is that we can never be wrong (though never be right). It gives us an excuse to talk on a blog for hours and thus avoid messing with any other issue that might interfere with our rants. Lets face it, if we didn't have this FUBAR system to motivate us to spend countless hours on a website arguing about who is the national champ, we might have to talk to our wives instead. Personally, I think BSU got screwed because the overrated Big 10 (which was overrated by beating and overrated Big 2 team early in the year) got more credit than they deserved. If OSU had to play the same schedule as BSU week in and week out, OSU couldn't survive. OSU doesn’t have to travel as far to play or adjust to significant altitude differences. Same holds true for Florida. We need a playoff (nod, wink, giggle)!
Have you noticed it's always a BCS-BS Playoff System, not a playoff system including all the teams
Yes, the BCS-BS, the networks & a few conferences control all of Division I football, but first, you have to get rid of the BCS System & then start all over again. ![]() BRING BACK THE GLORY DAYS OF SMU FOOTBALL!!!
For some strange reason, one of the few universities that REFUSE to use their school colors: Harvard Crimson & Yale Blue.
