Couple of questions

Why was Chuck Faucett (sp) fired? He was really popular with the players and was a big reason that they had such good attendance at summer work outs.

Are there any names being mentioned for the Tulsa job?

Good. I am glad we fired a bright spot on the staff. I would probably blame the strength coach for poor offensive play calling, short comings in recruiting, and overall poor game preperation too. Good strategy there.

Not sure the story behind this but every former player I have ever spoken with raves about the guy and what a great job he does. Very surprised to hear he was let go.

Faucet

C'mon J.T. stay up buddy. Some of the players spoke negatively about his approaches while they were injured, subsequently his interview with Orsini was not good! We are losing a good one, but with his background someone else will gain a good one.

Phil has another Brother who went 0-10 last year. How about him. After all as Phil says we don't need any changes to the staff because "they are "Loyal"

Its pretty easy to be loyal when you have noone else trying to get you.

How does the saying go? "A man is only as faithfull as his options." I think it is.

YES, you cannot trust Football coaches these days, especially college ones. We all learned that from Saban and Petrino. Both promised to stay where they were but lied for $$$.

Not sure if you got my point or not. I was saying noone wants to hire our coaches away from us. Do to their lack of options they are loyal. If they had any options, we wouldn't view them as loyal because they would do what is in THEIR best interest just as everyone does. And that applies outside of just college athletics.

No pain, no gain, so some players along for the ride players will speak
negatively about anybody that pushes them :!: :!: :!:

That is the point I was making. Faucet would sit in his office with his feet on his desk the majority of the time, instead of doing whatever a strength and conditioning coach does? This is what I was told, and when aske to present Orsini with some type of documentation or plan of progression, he could not. But now we got Vic, wow!!
