Franchione's daughters post bond after arrests

COLLEGE STATION, Texas – Texas A&M football coach Dennis Franchione's two daughters were arrested early Sunday at a College Station bar. Elizabeth Franchione, 17, was charged with resisting arrest and making alcohol available to another minor.

Her older sister, Ashley Franchione, 23, was arrested for interfering with the duties of a police officer.

Police allege Ashley Franchione grabbed the arm of an officer in protest of her sister's arrest. The younger girl posted $6,500 bond Sunday. Her older sister posted $3,000 bond.

Honestly, who cares? They're young...who hasn't gotten arrested for underage drinking? Or at least gotten in some bit of trouble at that age. I hate Franchie with a passion, but let's not start rubbing this in. Just no reason to.

B-Ball season is over. Football doesn't start for a while. We don't have baseball. Golf team is doing okay. Hey, gossiping beats no chatter at all, and hey, my point was that the Aggies are not letting any chatter on their board about it at all. What happened to the girls is no big deal. But the reaction at A&M is just too funny. On one board they put up a picture of the Iraqi press secretary and had quotes like: "Didn't happen. Only those envious of A&M spread lies like that".

This is like Dubbya's daughters getting caught drinking. Who cares?
