I am posting this on the Football board for maximum exposure.

There will be a gathering of Mustang supporters in Little Rock on March 6, 2007. Bob Sharp of the Mustang Club will be making a stop in our beautiful community next Tuesday and a group hug will take place at Juanita's at 11:30 am. For the unfamiliar, Juanita's is downtown, south of I630 on Main Street (1300). As far as I am concerned ( I am stating this on my own authority) Mustang Club membership is not required to attend. We want to say hello to all Arkansas ponies regardless. And anyone from Dallas or elsewhere that would like to make the trip is invited also.

Invitations were mailed but have not arrived for some unknown reason so it is imperative that any Arkies reading this message get the word out to any other ponies they know in the area.

I assume, although not confirmed, that Bob will be buying lunch, drinks, and providing tuition for all Arkansas SMUers' children. But in case I am wrong, bring some cash for lunch.

Hope to see Ponyte, Arkpony and many other SMU folks there.

We have confusion on the location and we are getting it settled. Either way, Jtstang I have a seat for you.

I'm there. At last, a non Razorback event in Arkansas. And we have a game here this fall (well, Jonesboro wherever that is). And end the season in Memphis. Things are looking up.

Actually, the folks that bought our bank also bought a holding company in Jonesboro and it appears I may be doing some work up there on occasion.

Actually, I do have a clue. Did my time in that area (Osceola, Blytheville and Jonesboro). I plan to take my motorhome and have a "Mustang Nation" moment.

Why is this not being held at the Sherwood Country Club??!!

Sounds like Bob sent the invites without stamps knowing that Mark would pick up the slack. Wish I could be there but too short notice for a business trip to LR.

Gentlemen: I am currently in Washington, D.C. visiting the "General". As you know, she is now stationed here working in the Surgeon General's office and with the way things are going (See news of yesterday and today) She may very well be running the place by the time you read this!

In any event, I will not be returning to Little Rock until the 8th. Can you see if the whole shebang can be put off until the 9th? I will definitely be there then and will even buy the first round!

I am afraid the date can not be changed since Bob Sharp is just passing through on his way to Memphis. But if you want to buy the first round, you can wire the money to my bank account. There will probably be about 200 there so send me $1,000.00.

Seriously, when you get back you and me and Ponyte can get together for lunch.

fordtotolbert will be there...hidden, of course...
