Regarding our Dline...someone do me a favor

...and reassure me or give me something positive. So far, all I can think of is Muse is coming back, and Handy and Parham got some PT last year.

For once, our LBs are coming back intact, and we have the JuCo DB to go with last year's returners plus Brandon coming back. We have a returning FS to go with KJ Ellis and possibly the freshman, and David Haynes. Of course, all of these need a D-line to occupy some bodies to be effective.

So...Muse & Handy on one side I suppose, and...Charlie Berry/Parham and?

Well, we have several big bodies in the middle joining Charlie Berry, the only problem is that they're all so young, we have no idea how developed they are and how they'll perform against older competition.

Visiting practice the other day, I was impressed with how big Mickey Dollens seems to have gotten. He looks like a ball player now, when I wouldn't necessarily have said that last fall. Ryan Leonard and Kyle DeGroat are big but are also freshmen. Brad Lankford is positively ancient as a sophomore.

As much as we'll all miss Justin Rogers, I think we're actually in pretty good shape at DE with three proven DEs to join Muse (Griffen, Parham and Handy) and Adrian Dizer looking very good in practice.

If we can get one or two of these DLs to step up, our defense may be improved over last year.

I posted this elsewhere, but I think the fact that Pryor was moved to provide depth on the OL means that PB has a lot of confidence in the young guys at DT, he isn't just blowing smoke about it.

One of the big DT's played against Juco and Div I JV talent last year while in a prep school. I think that I heard or read that.

I feel better because you know the way I think about the big men up front.
