If anyone hasn't heard of it yet, there's a great book out by Michael Lewis (writer of Moneyball) called Blind Side. It's all about the rise of the left tackle position. It's very well done and insightful.

I'm wondering if Ben Poynter is going to be this year's Sturdivant -- the non-QB who gets interviewed all the time. From everything I've seen, he's a great spokesman for the team and for the school. He's a terrific player, a willing teammate who has moved posititions several times, a solid student and a generally good guy. Here's to getting more Mustangs like him -- on and off the field.
