I mean what's so great about a big side of beef on the side of the field. Who cares about a stupid bulldog. It really ought to be between Peruna and Ralphie for the crown. And we all know that in a showdown, Peruna has at least one kill to his credit.

In all fairness to our horse, there's a big difference between cool real mascots and lame fake ones. Our current fake mascot is strictly middle-of-the-pack stuff. The guy doing it a few years back was much more active and fun to watch.
