We can have a "Tech Renovation" thread but when it comes to a "TCU Renovation" thread, no-can-do?

Why did TCU tear down the TCU theatre building? The corner of Berry & University just doesn't look right without it.

I believe that we did. Something about TCU being too cheap to air condition their practice facility and chicken pens

Glad to see the froggies are clueless as usual. The thread about the TCU renovations is actually still on the front page of the football forum and is titled "TCU spares no expense on practice facility" or some such.

Clueless? I'm not talking about that thread; I'm talking about Amon Carter Stadium.
And by the way, Gary Patterson himself specifically requested that the facility not be air-conditioned.

GP himself is dumb. And there was a thread on here a short while ago with pics + discussion of ACS and it's upgrades. NOT THAT IT MATTERS ON OUR BOARD

Tear it down? What are you talking about? They expanded it.

Cost was not the issue. Thanks to letterman alums flush with Barnett Shale cash, we had no shortage of money. For a more accurate explanation of the issue, see my posts here

I think he's talking about the Frog Theater..., which was bought by TCU to make room for the new bookstore.

Our alumns are flush also, it is just that SMU would rather alienate them rather than bring them back into the fold...

Yeah right
I know TCU doesn't have an engineering program, but I thought
any dumb ain't been kissed yet frog would know that you can always
turn off the AC if you want a tough workout.

First, the University has one of the greatest engineering programs in the country, per Popular Mechanics.
Secondly, as I said above, Coach Patterson himself specifically requested no air-conditioning.
Simple.

First Popular Mechanics has TCU as a great engineering school. And now A&M has now been rated by Cows and Sheep Magazine as a top destination school. Two Texas schools receiving international kudos.

This now in. Carl's Carburetor College and Electrolosis Academy out of Dime Box is a top ten ticket in the fuel mix/laser hair removal double major.
We have work to do.
