Coach Bennett says that QB/WR Zach Rhodes is "too good an athlete to not have on the field." Bennett says there will be plays at both QB and WR this year for Rhodes. With his speed and athletic ability, this guy has great potental to help our football team.

So in other words, when #13 lines up at QB, it's going to be a run.

No it means when #13 lines up at WR its going to be a pass off a reverse or lateral.

so far this spring he has worn the number 10 although that is what it says on the roster - in fact several players are wearing different numbers from what is on the roster

Hey, I've said I think this guy has talent all along. Obviously Coach Bennett thinks so too. The guy has a good arm also but because of his shoulder injury last summer in an All-Star game, it will take more time for his development....... As for the committ about the Jared Romo"playbook" comparison, I thought Jared Romo was a very good college QB by the half way point during his Senior season. Romo was a great athlete. Romo's problem was he just didn't have enough time to reach his potential until his Senior year. Rhodes is faster than Romo was and SMU has him for 4 years to develope his talents..........If you guys didn't like my post, great. Just give this guy a break. I don't give a Crap what # this guy wears Saturday, I'm just glad he is part of the team.

From what ive been hearing is that he has really been impressing everyone and Jwill has struggled a little lol i know that Jwill is qb of this team but hey it could happen! I always [deleted] people off when i say this but jwills decision making could be better and yeah he was just a redshirt freshman so i hope he has matured some this offspring

Dude, don't take me that seriously, I hope the kid does well. My sarcasm isn't meant to put down anyone other than the person calling the plays.

I think the comment was not that Romo was not a good player, but that every time he went in, we ran the same play (QB draw).

Romo is now trying out for an Arena team in Oklahoma, I think.
Good luck, Jerad!
