Anyone want to take a stab at your list by position? Thought it might kill some time, spark some debate. :D

Vic is a good one for sure. A few players from last year's team would have to be strongly considerd. Rogers, Haywood, Sturdivant, Kennedy. Alvin Nabufe would have to get a good shot on making the roster too.

**Edit**From our current roster I would also have to add Morestead as a lock at P and Jesse Henderson would have a great chance at KR.

Mike Rossley would have to make that list of WR's ahead of anyone other than Wolf I would think. Isn't he top 3 in yardage and receptions in the history of the school? Plus I think his senior year he had something like 80-90 recptions which has to be up there in our season records. Its hard to judge Sanders from just one season but obviously he got off to a fantastic start to his career.

I cannot remember the name of the DE in the mid- late 90's that led the WAC in sacks and only played in half of the games.

I think Cary Brabham was the best Free Safety, Haywood the best DLM, Morestead the best Punter. Shanderrick Charles was the best RB albeit basically a 3 game career. Wouldn't Donald Mitchell be one of the CBs. Rogers would be one of the DEs. I'm not sure about best offensive linemen but I'm pretty sure they all played from 1997-1999. Of course, the team would be Coached by All-Time great Mike Cavan the only coach to EVER lead SMU to a winning record since the DP and he did it without scheduling the School for the Blind and Handicapped.

Cavan also tied the second-best record, which was .500. Technically, he went 1-1 the next season as the other games were wiped off the record books because of the Malin scandal.

Still, Cavan was a world class A-hole.

I put Glieber on the team just because he stuck around from DP to post DP. He is my choice for the postion of character.

Good Point, Mick (I think it was Mick) was pretty good, I'd drop Cunningham off and put him there... but I may be overrating Sanders.. But Brian Berry was really underated by everone but himself in my opinion (Brian if you are out there, I'm joking)

DE--Luke Johnson
CB--Coby Rhinehart

Hard to believe that we are now calling Mike Cavan the best post DP coach. How the mighty have fallen. That should get this post erased.
