Texas High School Sports Hall of Fame, that is. Induction is May 5 in Waco.

And we have assistant coach Chuck Curtis going in, also. His schools listed in Texas Coach magazine were Cleburne, Jacksboro and Garland. They left out Grand Prairie and UT Arlington (other head coaching stops).

I do...all around great player..lead nation in punting in the early 50's, two years in a row. He was also a versatile back....all - swc in 52 or 53? Could run, pass, punt...played a couple of years in the pros for philly, stl, or the lou, as he used to call it, dallas and green bay. one of our all time greats!!

I have seen old game films with Jerry Noton playing. He was exciting to wtch. Congrats, Jerry.
