Stark will be missing from MNF broadcasts

Melissa Stark will not return to ABC's "Monday Night Football" for a fourth season as a sideline reporter because she is pregnant.

Stark is expecting her first child in September. She has worked Monday night games since 2000, when she and Eric Dickerson replaced Lesley Visser on the sidelines.

Dickerson left after two seasons.

ABC Sports vice president Mark Mandel said Tuesday the show is seeking a new reporter for the 2003 season.

I'd love to see Dickerson back on the sideline - every broadcast should have a Mustang, even one with Dickerson's .... "skills" - but no Melissa Stark? Monday Night Football just won't be the same. She was the main reason to watch when your favorite team wasn't playing.

Hope she returns in 2004!

This really shoots holes in my theory that her marriage was a scam and that she was waiting for me.

Maybe they'll replace her with Jen Olsen's sweaty mug.

Who's Jen Olsen?

Isn't she the one on Channel 8 who is (or was) linked to Randy White?

Sounds like more people were interested in watching Melissa Stark than the football itself!
