It's a 6:30 kick on FSN. May record it since we're playing North Texas that night. Wish the Frogs well. I think their defense -- an oustanding unit -- is going to give Colt McCoy problems.

All I can say is this: it will be a long night for one team. Heh.

Only if the 'Horns are sober.

If TCU had a QB that wasn't green and they were playing in Ft. Worth.. I'd say they might have a shot.. maybe.

TCU will come out pumped up and make it interesting in the first quarter.

After that.. Texas rolls'em

Nah, just as long as the players aren't driving to the game. Get a DD and I think they still win the game.

I'm with you -- I'm also looking forward to seeing the Ponies set things right with the North Texas State Teachers' College and Technical School that night.

I heard they were changing their name to the Community University of North Texas. That may just be a rumor though.

I normally pull for the Froggies against anyone they play, unless it is us or a C-USA school, but the desire for them to suffer a "gut wrenching reality check" is just to juicy to pass up. I admire and envy what they have accomplished in football but they will get put back in their place in a big way this game...it's just too early in the season for a team that will be making so many changes.....Texas will beat them bad, embarrassingly bad, and while I may feel a smidgeon of empathy for them, I will mostly be grins and giggles :P

Just wait for the nitwit North Texas fans to respond and retaliate with something that:

A: Makes no sense to anyone but their own kind.
B: Continue to act like they have the chip on their shoulder.
C: Extol the virtues of going to a school that really holds to remedial educational value.

Isn't one of their posters on our board call the overstresser, overthetoilet, oversomething...
Whatever it is, that guy seems to be an accurate representation of their bushleague school.

I just hope the nit-wit UNT fans don't get to have a party on the Ford turf.

I think Patterson will have TCU ready to play against Texas. I don't think TCU will be anymore intimidated in Austin than they were in Norman a few years ago. Certainly UT should win but I think it will be alot closer game than some people would think.........That said, the frogs are focused on Texas now and it would not surprise me if they got beat by Baylor in their first game.

I don't think there was more than 1-2% of you guys that thought TCU would beat OU in 2005.

The only thing holding TCU back is the QB situation (maybe).

In the end I think Texas wins, but TCU returns a TON of players from last season.
