That's going to hurt big time, I think Damon Hurst is his back up.

If it's true, then it's his loss. Not ours. I can't worry about who we don't have on our roster. I only worry about who IS on our roster.
I checked our web site. He's still on it -- may mean nothing. I know he was second on the second on the team in tackles. But that gives an opportunity for guys like Damon Hurst, Pete Fleps and Patrick Strodtman. And believe me, Fleps and Strodtman are players. You'll like what you see from them.

bull hockey. Teams that have and/or are 'turning the corner' don't have doubts or words on the street that their returning senior starting middle linebacker defensive leader is or is not on the team. Expony18 is closer to the situation than I, but we all know that he's right more often than he is wrong. IMO, having things such as this happen is telling about our team's cohesiveness. I hope I'm wrong.

losing carrington would not be a good thing by any stretch of the imagination but i would like to know what this all boiled down to, if true. maybe he has family issues to attend to or maybe bennett demanded more effort/dedication and he wasn't up to the task. any more details would be appreciated.

Is this related to his injury last season? Hate the speculation and don't know if it is even true, but didn't he have problems still in the Spring?
Hope he is able to play, but if not good luck to him. He's one of the good guys.

And I'm calling buffalo bagels on your assessment. If you are under the impression that every successful team in every sport sits down and sings kumbaya with each other, then you're sadly mistaken. The idea is for everyone to understand what the goal is and work together to reach that goal. Regardless of someone's status with the team, the moment someone starts going off on their own agenda -- and in this potential situations QUITS -- then either something personal happened which caused this and everyone understands -- or he didn't fall in line as to what was required to be a team player.
Arkansas went through this with Mitch Mustain. And while there is some frustration over what would happen, they will be better off without him in the long run.
Look at my signature quote and that's all you need to know.
Again, we will eventually know if this is true, but if Reggie wasn't towing the line, then it will be addition by subtraction. If it was personal and unavoidable, then my best to him.

Well he's only been on the team for the better part of a decade, maybe he thought it was time to move on.

Thank you for your treatise and the referral to the quotation in your signature. Keep in mind the last two sentences of my post were prefaced with "IMO" and concluded with "I hope I'm wrong."

If this is true then it is very sad. I was looking for Carrington to have a big year. I hope that he gets whatever issues he has under control and rejoins the team.

I'm not totally up to par with computer language lingo. What do IMO and IMHO mean?
I do know LOL and BTW and FWIW.
Sorry to throw this thread off the tracks, but I just need to know.
