SMU punter Galloway named student representative trustee

SMU punter Andrew Galloway has been named the Student Representative Trustee for the 2007-08 school year, the University has announced.
Galloway, a senior marketing major, will also serve as the student representative to the Board of Trustees Athletics Committee. He is a three-year member of the football team and has received the Conference USA Commissioner's Academic Medal twice for maintaining a 3.83 GPA. The student trustee is an ex officio member of the SMU Board of Trustees with all responsibilities and voting powers of any trustee.
