Just an observation not criticism but aren't you elevating TCU by acknowledging their success. I've never really understand why someone wants to put on a T-shirt denigrating his opponent rather than a T-Shirt supporting his school. That's what Aggies do. Same thing with cheers and jeers. I dislike the fan at games always yelling against his opponent or their players and coaches rather than yelling for his school. Growing up in the SWC I really respect the other institutions and their traditions that we played against. Might hear me humming for example that Good Ole Baylor Line or the Spirit of Aggieland to get me fired up for game. I don't go in much for showing disrespect for a long time rival. Just my view.

To be honest, I have a relative who attends TCU and we were just having fun over the issue as they have certainly had fun at our expense. I was just thinking it was a hellva lot better than TCU S-Cks t-shirts which you and I have seen.

A terrific shirt was always the Michigan:
"Rudy Sucks."
TCUgly is funny

Even though we won'tt use the TCUgly on T-shirts, it would be a clever slogan on a banner at the game. Surely some frat rats will put this idea to good use at the appropriate time. However, I agree with Stallion that good sportsmanship requires that we alumni not get our hands dirty, especially when we can get somebody else to the job for us.

The Barnes & Noble SMU Bookstore on Mockingbird stocks a shirt amongst all of the S.M.U. apparel that says "The University of Texas...because not everyone can go to S.M.U." The University of Texas lettering is in large type...but the part about S.M.U. is in much smaller type. It's in burnt orange & white and has the Longhorn logo on it. Guess that makes S.M.U. no better than Aggies.

Those shirts should be banned from the store...or burned.

That shirt is dumb, much like any anti-TCU shirt. I always look at opposing teams/fans' shirts attempting to denigrate my school and usually the content is so sophomoric that I just point and laugh at them. Really, what's the point? Is it to get me riled up? I'd rather the team playing the actual game to be the ones fired up. Does it hurt my feelings? Not in the least. In fact, it makes me pity the person wearing it because more often than not the content of the shirt is born out of jealousy of my school's accomplishments.

You are assuming that the frat rats will be at the game...

I thought that TCUgly referred to their uniforms.

I went to the Global Games to see Alex Malone and Robert Nyakundi, and saw a shirt we could pirate:
There were a lot of Kansas and Kansas State fans in attendance, because of recruits heading to those schools were playing. Saw one guy wearing a blue Kansas T-shirt that said:
(Front) I Bleed Scarlet and Blue, so ....
(Back) I [deleted] Purple (with a KSU logo for the "i").
Juvenile, but funny.

With the lack of success that our football program has had for the last 2o years, can we really be talking any type of smack?

Now there are exceptions authorizing appropriate bad sportsmanship especially toward cheaters. Examples: Of course, SMU got its share of fans taunting SMU with Car Keys. But an even better one was when the Aggies under Jackie Sherrill got caught cheating by sending cash via Federal Express to a high school star which was explained by an assistant as just wanting to help a kid out with his education during a crisis. Unfortunately, this occurred shortly before the UT/A&M game. At the game, thousands and thousands of Texas students waived Federal Express envelopes and screamed at Jackie that they needed some extra cash for their education. Classic. Sherrill was on his way out the Door-thouroughly embarrassed and humiliated.
