Those guys from Tech look huge. After seeing that video, I only hope we can keep the score close on Labor Day.
Here is my question. Who would be crazy enough to spend your summer working out in Lubbock much less the school year? I think I would go crazy up there in Lubbock.

They look cut, but as far as huge all I saw were DBs and a backup QB. I think it's a big plus that Vic was around LSU's athletes the last few years, getting that perspective on size and speed.

Cut is what I meant to say. I don't think our guys are that cut. Of course I don't hang out anywhere near the SMU weight room or a weight room of any kind, so I probably have no clue.

They are. By the way interesting listening to the Tech strength coach talk about they're here voluntarily working out. This summer with Viloria the marked difference is that in the past it was ok guys have a great summer, try to do some pushups when your not too busy, and now it's if you want a place on the team, you will be here completing this designated workout to this standard.

Really? Because you can't have required workouts at this time of year...do I see another NCAA violation coming?

Emmitt, do you and the other NTS trolls spend as much time on the other 11 opponents board as you do here?

Let me know if it's possible for you to comprehend the concept of something being unofficial. I know that i must be really tough, but just try.

There is a difference between required and suggested/unofficial workouts. Maybe you missed that in your semantics for teachers class.

Really though, how many of us post on your board?

Yeah, I'm sure OU was "cut" when Boise State kicked their #ss too.

And TCU, when SMU took them down two years ago.

Doesn't mean much when one team gets it in their mind to whip somebody's #ss.

Word from the Red Raiders, is they are doing 7 on 7 on Saturday afternoons to simulate the Labor Day heat.

I guess no one told them the game is on a Monday. This gives us an advantage if we are smart enough to practice on Monday afternoons to simulate the Labor Day heat.
