990AM is Sports Fan Radio. If you want to call in a question for Coach Bennett, here's the number: 972-490-0990.

Here's the station's website: http://www.thesportsfan990.com/

Interesting...they've got every sports team in Dallas listed except SMU on their website.

The hosts of the call-in show reported at 4 p.m. that PB had to cancel because he was leaving on a flight from Dallas so I wasn't tuned in at 5. However, at 5:15 I caught the tail-end of PB talking to the hosts - from the airport terminal! - about CUSA being an exciting conference for SMU and that the Mustangs' goal is to make it to a bowl game. He was also talking about being from Marshal, Texas and that he planned to eat some catfish over there soon.

One of the hosts made mention earlier in the day that word is beginning to trickle out of New Orleans where the CUSA Media Day was held that SMU is the team to watch out for in 2007. And that some folks (CSTV) are predicting that the Mustangs will not only win the Western Div. but that they'll win the CUSA Championship.

Just heard that this radio station (990 am) is going to be carrying the Arkansas Razorback games this year in Dallas.

Well they should. According to all the Razorback experts, McFadden is a shoe in to win the Hypesman Trophy this year. Oh, and Ark is loaded and will win the National Championship assuming that the refs don’t steal it from them again. I do beleive the Razorbacks open on the 1st against Middle Backwaters State Park Community College or some such.

Has he forgotten so much about Marshall's fine cuisine that he would choose catfish over a brown pig?
