Postby OC Mustang » Mon Aug 06, 2007 11:18 am

Starting the thread.
Any and all information strictly related to August practices and/or preparation for Texas Tech. Who do you see? How do they look? etc.
Holding until someone posts additional information.

Based on weather.com's 10 day forecast, it should be 97 hi and 77-80 for lows. About what one would expect this time of year. Nothing extreme like in some years pass.

I mentioned this in the recruiting thread, thought I'd drop in in this box too.

Andrew Ellison and Bradon Smith were at the Vet practice yesterday. I talked to Smith for a while. He said that he chose SMU because of Coaches Bennett and Burns, especially Burns with whom he worked at the recent Camp (nice to hear that). I didn't talk to Ellison because I couldn't for the life of me remember his name.

I chatted with Special Delivery for a while, and we tried to figure out who QB#12 was. I wish I could report something constructive about how practice was going, but alas, I really wasn't there for long.

I believe many of the practices are closed to the public. I'll post if I find out otherwise.

Bump. Don't care if closed to public. Somebody say something. Kate H is great, but is not enough to feed the beast. Need info. Crave it. MustangManiacs has pix. Need here.

Justin Willis was signing autographs at Milk & Cookies with the Mustangs last night at the UP Library. Good stuff...or should I say Pony Up!

Any idea what Turner was wearing? We discounted him originally thinking that he would have been in with the Freshmen in the AM

I agree. The beast must be fed. Athletic Dept. needs to have field reporter at practice daily.
