Justin Rogers will be playing the entire second half Friday vs The Buccaneers. Luckily I will be there watching #51 wreck shop.
The Patriots will open the 2007 preseason on Friday night when they travel to Tampa Bay to take on the Buccaneers. Since training camp opened on July 27, the Patriots have been working out in front of record crowds on their Gillette Stadium practice fields and will test their 2007 team in a game situation for the first time against the Buccaneers. This weeks game can be seen on WCVB Channel 5. The game will also be televised live in the following markets: Providence, R.I. (WNAC-TV Ch. 64), Manchester, N.H. (WMUR-TV Ch. 9), Portland, Maine (WMTW-TV Ch. and Springfield, Mass. (WWLP-TV Ch. 22) and can be heard on the Patriots Rock Radio Network and it's flagship station WBCN 104.1 FM.

Depends on what you want to do. Ybor City has some good bars and as long as you are at Raymond James, there are a few "establishments" just down the road near the intersection of Dale Mabry and 275.

gunner, I hear there are some bagel shops with .... scantily clad waitresses. Seriously. I had an ex with family there, and she told me I was not allowed to go there for breakfast when we visited Tampa. As it turned out, we split before heading to Tampa, so I never got to check that story out. Ask the doorman at your hotel if it's true.
Tear 'em up, Justin!

JR has been playing in the second quarter of the game. A few assists and I think I saw him in on a sack on Luke McCown.

JR just stopped Bruce Gradkowski on a QB sneak on third and short. Next play, Tampa went for it (its the preseason) and got the first down. The Bucs tv announcers finally mentioned his name.

Nice! JR just recovered a fumble.
I know, I know, its only the preseason. Nice to see him playing well against other NFL types.

The box score shows that he led the team in tackles.

I know we've been used to our stud safety leading in tackles, but LBs ARE supposed to lead in tackles, right?
Good job JR!
