Holy Crap, $47 bucks a pop for EndZone seats? Glad I've got Season tickets.

You think $47 is bad, Okie State is charging $85 for single game tickets for the Texas Tech game.

Welcome to big time college ball.
Texas A&M charged $87 for the Tech game last year and it was one of their top 10 largest crowds ever, probably a top 5. I think Texas is charging the same price and Tech sold out of their allotment last month. The $47 is a bit steep, but a relative bargain. You probably could sell the place out at $57 a ticket. And probably will the next time Tech comes to SMU. We keep paying the higher price, so why not charge it?

I will have two 50 yard line lower section west side tickets available for the Tech game. Have to go to a family wedding that week. If interested, please PM or email me. Will give them up at cost.

No bids. Commanding is not the same as getting.

Between football fans coming out to see Mike Leach's Air Raid offense and hoops fans coming out to heckle Bob Knight, Texas Tech is helping out a lot of athletic departments around the state. Seems everywhere Tech plays is sold out.

I think that is because people like to get out of Lubbock. It's that "rear view mirror" thing.

It is more about the 50,000 alumni living in Dallas and its suburbs. I am not sure of the total in the DFW area any more. It grows every year. Our biggest block of new students each Fall are from the DFW area, so as they graduate and move back, it grows every year. We probably add 3000 to 5000 alumni in DFW each year.
Not all make it back to Lubbock for games, so when we have an event in DFW, they all show up. At least you guys are prepared for our crowd. Last year, TCU was as unprepared for us as our O was to play a game that day.
In the words of Pudge, "I am hoppy, sited" to go to Ford to watch this game.
