Let's show visiting fans a good time

Postby smupony94 » Thu Aug 09, 2007 8:50 pm

What are the best ways for visiting fans to enjoy the Boulevard and hopefully handle a loss to SMU? Don't get this thread deleted.

I put this up as last night I copied something from gomeangreen.com and it got deleted.

I know many UNT fans and they are not like Emmit and Overcusser so I want to show the 98% of UNT fans a good time like they did for me although we lost.

Sorry, it was low hanging fruit. I don't get over to Dallas much anymore, but after last year's trip to the Boulevard, I'm not sure that SMU fans need to do much to improve on their/our hospitality.

Not much is told to visiting fans on where to park, where they can set up and so on....

With the new Boulevard policies for this year, I don't think visiting fans can set up anywhere.
What are the best ways for visiting fans to enjoy the Boulevard and hopefully handle a loss to SMU ?
.........On the Boulevard, just make them feel welcome. They might just come back for another game. Remember, for the most part whether it is right or not, Tech fans have always commited how poorly SMU was treated by the NCAA with the DP compared to other schools who have had similiar issues. Their fans deserve to be treated with some respect on our Boulevard......... Now in the stands....get their early, yell like h-ll, and well....... no predictions.

Tailgating info

Postby Charlie NT73 » Fri Aug 10, 2007 8:56 am

I know when SMU came to Denton last year, I talked to many
SMU fans, and really welcomed the fans to Fouts. I met some really
nice fans and good people. I am glad the fans came up to Denton.
One fan SMU told me, "Wow, the scene here is nothing like I expected-
this is great!"
Anyway- there will be a ton of NT fans coming over to Ford for the game
and many NT fans want to tailgate-
Any advice on tailgating?

Keep both eyes open and if you need glasses or contacts, wear them.
