Not very well I guess. I didn't know going 10-10 in the first two years of Conference play and being picked to finish anywhere from 1st to 3rd was struggling. Granted nobody has dreams of playing .500 ball in a mid major conference, but I don't feel like struggling and failing to gain traction are appropriate descriptions.

Bennett barely survived after his team failed to win two of its last three games to become eligible for its first bowl game since 1984.

Although he's right about Bennett barely surviving, he is wrong about not being eligible for a bowl last year. We just weren't invited.

1. We are 8-8 in the first two years of C-USA.

2. I wholly agree. That is not struggling and failing to gain traction. We've just been very inconsistent with our struggles and traction.

Nice that PB was pictured though... any press is good press - and we sure have been getting a lot more of it this pre-season.

Yeah 10-10 sure doesn't sound right. Kinda caught that after the fact.
