What about Chase Smith 64 last year he Played in half of the games behind Darren Johnson Left Tackle and did great job, no he's nursing sore shoulder but should be fine for season. Should he be at left tackle and Ben back to center. Why would you move your most important lineman (QB) Willis protector . He has the system down pat and he'se better at center than at tackle ffom the few practices ive seen. Also it will make it harder on Ben Poynter to be recruited Pro since he was being looked at as Center. Scouts will have to reevaluate him at new position with only 1 year of stats and film. Mitch doing fine at center , but believe this would be better option for overall chances to win.

Why do I find it strange that a Pro Scout, UT graduate, can not spell the postion he is scouting and is making suggestions on how our offense should be run? I guess it is just me but this kind of smells of something else.

All NFL scouts I've heard have claimed it increases a players prospects if has proven to be able to play multiple offensive line positions. Exactly what are Ben Poynter NFL prospects?
Sorry about that

I think we should forego an offensive line and put just Willis on the field in a red chariot pulled by red Mustangs and see if that works.

You must have a really expensive computer, cause I can't find an up arrow on my keyboard. It's not fair!

You're right — I've read quotes saying the same thing. I also read some lists somewhere that said Poynter is a legitimate center candidate and possible guard candidate (whether he gets drafted or goes as a free agent), but again, everything I've seen suggests that the flexibility to play multiple positions seems to be a highly-valued trait, and I wish him the best.
I bet Kenard Burley gets a good look, too — hopefully drafted.

I will buy that. I am too stoopid to operate one so I would not know.
