17-of-20 for 264 yards and two scores? For a guy who missed time in the spring with a busted throwing hand, I'd say that's a pretty stellar line, even for a "don't touch him - he's a QB" scrimmage. By my math, that's 85% completion. Works for me.

Other thoughts:

--> Ryan Leonard is quicker than I thought he'd be.

--> Holy crap, Aldrick Robinson can run.

--> That Emmanuel Sanders has got some hands on him, doesn't he?

--> Chris Parham looks like he's lost a lot of weight. Looked very quick.

--> I hope neither takes a meaningful snap this year at QB, but I feel at least a little better about the backup QB spot after seeing Rhodes and Turner. My vote for No. 2 is Rhodes.

--> I keep hearing great things about the Fleming kid (TE). Anyone else? Looks very skinny, but I hear he has unbelievable hands.

--> I've never been a fan of a kicker or punter before. Now I am.

--> Glad to see some pressure from the backup DEs, considering Muse and Handy didn't play.

--> Regardless of his performance, I was glad to see Columbus Givens out there tonight. Here's to good health... and a bunch of touchdowns, of course.

--> Didn't see anyone carted off, or any injury that looked even a little serious. I didn't miss anything, did I?

You do very good math. Or at least the same math I do after a few beers. I'll take a game like that - let alone a partial game - from Willis every week, and we'd win a ton of games.

Ryan Leonard DID move better than I expected. Not very tall, but he seems quick and pretty strong. I'm eager to see more of the guy.

Yes - Aldrick Robinson is extraordinarily fast. In other news, the sun rises in the East.

Based on his build, I thought Fleming was a WR, not a TE. I trust he's a prize pupil of Vic Viloria.

I didn't see any major injuries, either. Hopefully, there weren't any.

Kudos to Justin Willis. Scrimmages are tough to judge, of course, but he looked terrific tonight. Now go do that (and more) against Tech!
