They're going with redshirt freshman Andy Dalton out of Katy.
The story in the FW paper said the battle between him and the other kid (Jackson?) was nearly a draw. I'm sure there will be the usual growing pains in the first couple of games -- I guess we can hope that will be extended to Sept. 22 (Ha! Ha!) -- but I would think the Frogs defense will be their signature unit for the season. And with Tommy Blake returning, they should be really difficult to deal with.
That's a darn good program over there. I wish them luck, except when we go over there.

Remember, TCU's success saved SMU football. Without them, we couldn't have have proven Pye's model to be not only a failure, but an outright embarassment to the school. Love them or hate them we're "joined at the hips"!
BEAT TCU

Kind of going out on a limb there, aren't you?

Don't ever underestimate the power of underselling.
It's kind of like my kid's new 4th grade teacher -- she's kinda hot. And if you saw her, then you would know about how I undersold that one.
But I digress.

Patterson hates QB-- qb's don't play on defense.
He'd punt on 3rd down if he could but the D has to rest occasionally.
