Freshman (2006): Moved from offensive line to defensive line for the second half of the season... Did not see game action... Member of the C-USA Honor Roll; 2005: Redshirted... A member of the C-USA Commissioner's Honor Roll; Prep: A second-team All-District 13-5A selection at defensive tackle and a second-team pick at offensive tackle... Had 75 pancake blocks on the year and 20 stops in just two games on the defensive line... A Waco Tribune-Herald Top 25 CenTex pick... Chose SMU over La. Tech, New Mexico State and Army; Personal: A business pre-major.

I remember PB saying when the guy signed that he was impressed b/c Lankford drove 20 miles each way just so he could play for a 5A HS.

He probably didn't see any playing time for himself any time soon and got disgruntled...I'm just speculating, but no one really talked about him when bringing up the 1st or 2nd team OL

Hickman retired because of injury, and is helping out as a student assistant coach.
