Awesome news. Will someone please give us an update on how he's look in practices and scrimmages? Based on the recruiting hype, I expect big things, but I haven't seen any reports regarding how he's played thus far.

NCAA really wanted to see evidence that the reason for his transfer was academics, he took a very full schedule this summer.
However, this meant that he spent a little more time on academics than working out this summer, and his weight was up a bit. He has now lost some of that extra weight in camp, but he is still a little behind on the depth chart. But he will be an excellent back up (for now) with a chance to improve and really push the current starters.

Glad to hear the young man will get to play. Sounds like he did a good job taking care of business this summer.
Anytime you're dealing with the NCAA on something like this you can expect delays, illogical rulings, and general BS. But I guess I'm preaching to the choir here...
