...has us losing by more than the line (8.5). Of the 8 DMN college beat writers, only one (Chip the TU huckster) has us winning and only one other picks us to even cover.
Good golly, I can't wait to see us do something to change the course Monday!

and the Tech writer for the DMN picks SMU against the line. Weird. One thing I don't understand is how confident Leach seems to be in his untested players. He has really been heaping praise on his new starters especially his offensive linemen and WRs who are mostly untested. Seems like in the past he generally has been more restrained in praise for such players. It could be that he is trying to instill confidence.

Someone told him they had a lot of stars on rivals when they came out of high school  he knows they're superhuman.

I will stick with Rich Cirminiello ==writer for Fox and Scout.com==SMU -37 TT- 32. Of course the rest of staff went for TT.
If you have not read his 2007 preview on SMU offence/Defence. Go to
http://foxsports.com/cfb/story/6932344
I say it again and again, Our players are as good if not better than TT. It all comes down to the coaching. My valuable 2cents worth.
GO MUSTANGS AND PONY-UP.

Why do you think our defense is as good or better than Tech's offense?

and I'll say it again and again, 90% of our players couldn't have gotten a scholarship offer to Tech.
