Seriously... Colors at the game.

The one day your school's athletic department asks you to wear white and this message board is full of people insisting they wear red or blue. For goodness sake, put on a white undershirt if you have too and go to the game. We can wear Red, or Blue any other game.

It is not our school color. I will wear white when I go to a Penn St. game, thank you. We are trying to bow to the Tech reddies and I for one will not be that demeaning to my school or my team. I will be in my den I am sorry to say, but I will be wearing red.

It is, but it gets you nowhere in the way of affirmative action.

If they want people to wear white, they should hand out a heap of "Pony Up" Shirts at the stadium.

To be totally honest (which I try to always be), my favorite shirt to wear to the games is white. What I do not like is the submission to the TT crowd and changing due to their wearing of red. 20 million people on national TV will not know if the wearers of red are SMU or TT fans. If we choose to distinguish ourselves differently and promote it to top it off, we will be very embarassed. I can hear the announcers now saying how SMU promoting the wearing of white and then counting the white shirts for the TV audience. They would be able to count them in between first and second down of the first series.

And by calling out the White shirts, they have pretty much ensured that ponyfans who didn't get the Memo will be counted in with the Raitards.
Again, if they hand out the Pony Up Tshirts before the game, I bet they can really make an impact and it won't be too bad. In fact, the Pony Up t-shirts make the whole idea make sense, though its still risky.

At the end of the day, I feel kind of like colors don't matter as much as NOISE does.

There will be plenty of noise, from the majority of Tech fans that will be in your stadium...it will be a pro-Tech crowd.
I, for one, am excited about this game...and love opening against y'all. It will be a big game for both programs, I expect y'all to play us hard, will be a good test for us.
