According to the NE Patriots web site, Justin was released today. Hopefully he will get picked up by someone, or signed to the developmental squad.

yea thats kinda crappy but with the depth they already had at LB its not surprising. he should be practice squad with them unless he gets picked up. did Oscar Lua (USC) make it? he was the competition.

It sucks, but on the bright side, he can go to a Team that I don't hate.

I think he'd make a great 3/4 Linebacker in Bolts.

You can always fall back on that SMU education!!

That's not the point, genius. Use that education you claim to appreciate so much, and see if you can figure out the point here:

Justin is smart as hell, and of course he can "fall back" on his education. The point is we all root for him, at least those of us who are real fans, and we want to see him succeed at his dream of playing in the NFL. He's a bright guy, and undoubtedly can be a success in whatever business he goes pursues after football. But the reason this sucks is he's a football player, a damn good one, and one of ours, who we'd like to see in the NFL.

When does the value of that education kick in for you?
