It is my understanding that the Ticket is not carrying the game. It is being broadcast on 1700 in Dallas. The ESPN announcers are listed on an ESPN thread.

Why was the Ticket broadcasting from the Boulevard but didn't cover the game on air? 1700 AM isn't that strong a station. I'm listening on 95.3 FM (TTech radio) but it'll be good to hear their amazement.

I tried to get in with my wife's faculty ID but the ticket takers were vigilant. Last year, you could go the week before the game and get two tickets. Oh well. My wife wasn't going to watch both kids while I enjoyed the game (by paying), and we weren't paying $47 apiece for two cranky toddlers. :-)

7-3 Tech in the first quarter

Because Mike Rhyner said so. :?

Seriously, SMU neds to fins a station which understands what promotion is, and not just a remote. ESPN 103.3 may not get the listeners most days, but they really try to sell the Frogs come game day.

The Frogs have a much better product to sell than SMU does.

Does the Ticket do talk shows or interviews with PB? I know that ESPN does that every week with Patterson. Like someone said, TCU is a better product but we could require a call-in show like what Doherty has. I'll assume that I'm just not in touch and PB has one.

I thought that 1700 was SMU's station considering how weak it sounded. I tried to listen to 1700 after I left when the third quarter was over, but BARELY could pick it up. I thought it was the shadow of another station so I tried every number on the dial. I also started to listen to the Tech station on FM, but decided I couldn't stomach that. Hope we improve the broadcast next week!
