COACHING STAFF = Embarrassment

BENNETT MUST GO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Our coaching staff throughout the game showed complete and utter incompetence. SMU players exhibited sufficient talent to have made the tech game much closer (maybe even win), had it not been for our glorified high school coaches.

3 Observations:

1. I Loved our defense audible: “ALL OUTâ€

Good man. Good family. Good D-coordinator.

Pitiful head coach.

Call Bekins...NOW!

Credit for this loss also goes to the school's administration, specifically the professors, that were given the power to severely restrict the ability of the coaches to recruit over the years. Although some of their restrictions have been loosened, as pointed out by others like Stallion on this board, our coaches still recruit at a competitive disadvantage because of remaining restrictions! These restrictions need to go for us to compete on an even playing field especially since we are not a BCS school and we do not have access to State funds to make us competitive with State schools like Tech.

Bennett is a great person. But I think it is time we look for new leadership. I would like to see SMU go after a big time coach. I think that would be a great move for SMU and the Dallas community.

I agree, our players are a lower caliber but, it wasn't like TECH was some big time program. A good coach could have brought this came to the the wire. Seriously though, I don't care if we had USC players dress out for us, any team is going to beat you if you have a defensive audible nicknamed "ALL OUT".

Get a rope

The lynch mob has a big rope. Only Orsini can drop the trap door.

Charlie Waters!!!! Who wouldn't want a Dallas Cowboy legend to be their coach? He could show recruits his Super Bowl ring(s)! The Dallas Morning News would give us so much positive press with a former Cowboy great as our head coach!!!!!

75 out of SMU's 85 players couldn't get an offer from Tech. The talent disparity is mind-boggling. And yet its always the coaches' fault. You know what I had very little complaints with the play calling. Answer these questions based on todays performance:

Better QB Yes not even close today
Better RB-pretty close
Better OLM Huge Advantage literrally
Better WRs Huge Advantage
Better Defensive Line Big Advantage
Better LBs Yes
Better DBs Huge Advantage
Kicking Game No but Tech made some plays here too.

Had the Ponies pulled off the upset, that same lynch mob wouldn't be so quick to demand a raise for the coaching staff — might even use the excuse "it's only one game."

Lighten up, people. We all were pulling for the Ponies today, and let's be honest — that was ugly. But anyone who didn't think we were going to get beaten was guzzling kool-aid by the gallon.

Let's concentrate on beating the snot out of UNT.

We don't need another cheerleader ra ra guy for a coach. We need intellegence. Regardless, we need a guy with a proven record. Steal a coach like Alabama did i.e. Nick Saban.

Uh JT, it's the Kool-aid drinkers that support PB and his magical ways.

I agree that we were outmanned on the d-line by about 4 inches and 100 lbs per guy, however we were totally outcoached!

While I think PB has done an admirable job in recruiting given the restrictions, which need to change this year

We need a new head coach period!

PB needs to step down, you were totally shown up today 2 years after your meltdown!

Bottom Line-

You suck!

FOR ALL PB FANS- I HAVE ONE QUESTION:

CAN ANYONE EXPLAIN TO ME THE DECISION FOR THE NICKNAME FOR AN ALL OUT BLITZ TO BE "ALL OUT"?

IF YOU DON'T NOW WHAT I AM TALKING ABOUT WITH RESPECT TO THE "ALL OUT" COMMENT, REWATCH THE ESPN BROADCAST OF THE GAME.

RESTRICTIONS ON RECRUITING IS NOT AN EXCUSE NOR AN ANSWER FOR THIS.
