The Worst thing about the loss....

is that we can still go to a bowl. I don't know about you, but a team that is 7-5 that loses by 40 to any team does not deserve to go "bowling".
Even worse than that, a middle of the pack Big 12 team destroys us and reminds us once again how far behind the mid-majors are and C-USA as a whole.
UNT last year is still worse as we all thought we were going to win, but I once again was fooled into thinking we could keep this close.
Just HORRIBLE play calling. HORRIBLE!!!

Welcome to the BCS Super Conference World. The big schools got their wish & now they've got it.
This will never change until the spineless administrations of all the non-bcs-bs schools decide to fight the cartel, which I'm sorry to say, will never happen. Hopefully, I'll be proved wrong some day but for now, you better pick a better sport to watch.

TCU hasn't had too many problems with teams in the Big 12 have they?

Seems like I recall Tech hanging 70 on them not too long ago. Let's see how they handle the Whorns this weekend.

Texas went completely bland/vanilla against Arkansas State.
NT did the same against OU.
We did the same thing after the game got out of hand  what did we run, three plays in the second half?
Season starts Saturday.

While true, we went 5-6 that year (2004)...our worst team since 1997. We gave up a LOT of points that year to a lot of average to poor teams. And Tech was very good that year - I think they beat Nebraska 70-somthing to 10.

Did their defense go vanilla also?

No, they just went lazy.
(And weren't half of them suspended?

)

Good point...but 400 yards...at home...to Ark State. I would think they could sleepwalk and hold them under 300.
