MWC and other thoughts
Posted: Wed Jun 04, 2003 11:13 amIf the MWC takes 4 schools and I think it is all but inevitable that they will, then SMU may have one of 3 possibilities:
--join with C-USA schools to
form a regional conference
--go independent
--hope for a miracle.
Miracles don't come around every day so I think the first 2 are more likely. We are probably seeing the decline of college football as we know it. It's really kind of sad.
