The Tech fans chant during the play review

Not a big deal, but would it have been possible when the Tech fans started the huge chant in the second half during the play review for something to have been played over the home field loud speakers?

I realize that sort of thing has happened before but that was still kind of embarrassing.

Is there a rule that during an official play review the loudspeakers can't blast something?

B.T.W. did anyone else feel that the loudspeakers were just a tad too loud?

yeah this pissed me off, but being a school with enrollment under 10k, you get used to this kind of stuff.

They were way too loud especially during the "commercials".

The whole audio/video/media/highlights/etc. was out of sync. Very poorly done. I moved my season tickets to get away from last year's sound "system" ... right into the path of The Master Blaster. Bad move. Would love to try a ballgame with no electronic sounds - just the sounds from the field, of the fans, bands, and the occasional frat bro who hurls a little boulevard on his date.

But you have to admit, I've never heard that stadium louder. But I agree, a lot of the fans were pretty freakin' annoying. I had one redneck behind me that kept yelling "Make 'em cry!" after every other play. Somehow, though, he turned those 3 words into about 5 syllables when it came out of his mouth.

That would have been an excellent time to broadcast the Genghis Grill tortilla race or whatever that thing is....

Geez big deal they yelled re-al loud. Made me sad. Have any of you guys ever been the Arkansas, or Alabama or Ohio St. or College Station. Arkansas Fans Calling the Hogs in Barnhill South. Heck TCU and Baylor can get pretty darn loud when they have a decent football team. Its been so long that we've been good some of you forgot that's the way you're supposed to act at a football game. Good for Tech. Most SMU fans NEED third Down Thunder to tell them an important play is about to happen.

Right, the opposing team is about to get a first down.

Yep, with the exception of the end of the game, when it's 49-9, I favor third down thunder. It actually creates some life in the stands.
