Suggestion to Orsini ("No Re-entry")

Just a suggestion, if the official policy of "NO RE-ENTRY" is going to be enforced like it mostly was yesterday then how about getting some plastic signs on tri-pods at the gates stating "NO RE-ENTRY". At half-time so many people are jamming the exits the "yellow vests" could not inform everyone of the no re-entry policy. Maybe even a quick announcement over the loudspeaker in the 2nd quarter? This should also be printed on the ticket if it is not already?

An even better suggestion would be to scrap that stupid policy all together.

It is lame and if I am paying good money for the land around the stadium to tailgate at, then the least you can do is let me go get something to eat and drink at halftime.

I thought the no re entry policy was issued from the Department of Homeland Security. I am pretty sure that is the policy for New Orleans after Katrina.

I am not an advocate of NO RE-ENTRY, but I believe when I have attended Notre Dame games they are no re-entry and most concerts are no re-entry. Do most Div 1 schools allow re-entry? Does TCU allow re-entry? Does anyone know if you can leave and come back in at Dallas Cowboys games?

Texas still allows it. The policy is as follows:

- There is unlimited re-entry before and during halftime.
- Once kickoff starts for the second half, if you leave, you cannot re-enter without a new ticket
- If you were already out before kickoff of the second half, you can re-enter (basically they stop handing out re-entry passes after halftime)

TCU is in and out and in and out at will.

We went over this last year,

BTW , last year there were sign that said No re-entry. But after the Athletic Department looked at other Top 25 stadiums we could go in and out ( Like the UT policy )

This year the new Sheriff wants a tighter grip on your MONEY. Two more hot dogs and drink money is worth [deleted] people off.

Please check the threads from last year.

UH has no re-entry. They have a great tailgating venue, but that really cuts into concessions revenue.

The Houston Dynamo supposedly have 3x the concessions sales that UH football does. That said, students probably aren't huge concessions buyers at a public university.

Look at the bright side, those that got stuck outside at halftime did not have to watch the second half. Lucky bastards.

"TCU is in and out and in and out at will"

Yep, I just called the TCU ticket office and they confirmed they do allow re-entry.

(By the way the on-hold TCU recording said all TCU/TEXAS tickets are sold out)

Dad tried to get tickets and they are going for $200-$400 each

Yep, stupid policy. Almost cruel and unusual punishment to not allow fans to grab a beer at the half when the team offers up a lackluster performance.

I hope TCU gives the Horns all they can handle!
I would think the "Ark State scare" was the worse thing that could happen for TCU.
