Ripping on O-line

Who was the [deleted] who was in Section 105 at the end of the row (not a season ticket holder...was just hanging around) who kept talking smack to SMU's O-line?

I understand frustration, but this guy was impossible. Kept saying that they were being embarrassed...they had "no horse"...and that Tech made Ford theirs.

A couple of folks told him to pipe down, and he did. Like I said, I understand frustration, but that kind of crap isn't cool.

I actually thought the line played pretty well.

I thought the line played well in the 1st half. Once they went one dimensional it was impossible to keep the Tech line in check, but you can't blame the line for that one.

If we're looking for anything to be happy about after that game, I'd say the O-line makes the list. Granted the Tech line is... subpar for the Big 12 (and lets leave it at that lol), but still.

They played great! Yeah right. They played so great Justin Willis had to either run out of the pocket to find a receiver or he had to simply throw it without getting a good look at his target.

The only fine play in this game was from the field goal kicker and the punter.

There was a young Tech fan at the end of the game talking [deleted] to the players as they were leaving at the tunnel, kept yelling 49-9 to our players. Other than that, I thought Tech's fans showed some class yesterday

Hey Bozo, read what I said. "Pretty Well", not great. Also, I think the fact that Justin hold on to the ball more than 4 seconds in the pocket has just as much to do with it as anything.

the o-line was definitely not the biggest problem in the game, it was in fact a positive. i remember watching us play a&m on the road two years, that was a porous o-line. i think they'll fare well against sun belt and c-usa teams

Both Mapps & Martin had positive rush numbers so I think the O-line played ok.

If you want to see Jwillis make more plays, then how about asking the OC to use JW skills with an occasional sprint out, roll-out, etc.
