I thought they both looked good considering they combined for less than 15 carries! When your recievers cant catch a beachball lets try the run game!

You'd.

And playing the run game up in the second half would have effectively been to give up. Yes, I'd much rather look like crap while still trying to win than just quit. I bet even DeMyron and James would agree.

Im just saying there might be something there but we stick to this spread offense that guess what....we cant run!!! Dropped passes a qb that looks at his first reciever then scrambles wont cut it. I think its time for a new game plan

we were in trouble after tech scored on their first possession. willis started pressing under the weight of huge expectations and being behind before he even started. It was that kind of day. I still think the short kickoff to start the game was a killer.

remember when we went 0-12? and all we did was run the ball? and we didnt beat tech then? or last year when we didn't even try to throw the ball and we still lost?

look, i'm not trying to say we had the best game plan, but it was better then a lot of the game plans we've had in the past. we had a lot of drops but i would chalk that up to first game jitters. and all justin had time to do was look at his 1st and 2nd reads and run. Give credit where credit is due. Tech beat us. We didn't help ourselves out any, but they were/are the better team.

What games were u watching thats all we did last year!!! im not talking just about the tech game, all season it will be the same thing! We need our top two rbs to run more than 14 time.

he might be joking, but falling behind against Tech was a huge factor. The key to the game for us was staying even or ahead early, emphasizing the running game, getting our fans involved and keeping their fans subdued. Everything backfired. Underestimate it if you want. We were never going to go out there and physically dominate Tech, we needed momentum.
