Explain to me how it is "becoming more and more of a possiblity". I would be curious as to what you are seeing in practice that leads you to believe that we are planning well for defeat.

With respect to blog's point, yes PB usually does well when his back is against the wall. However, he also usually doesn't fare well when a team has changed its offense (think Navy).

If I'm UNT, I through 6-8 yard passes over the middle ALL..GAME..LONG. Then send the kickoff out of bounds. That way they'll guarantee themselves some points, and take away our most significant weapon.

On the pre-game ESPN interview, PB said that SMU had to improve enough to get a bowl game or else he should be moving on. So let's expect him to dig in and find a way to win the 7 games he needs for a bowl bid, where all 5,000 of us will buy tickets.

I see us losing to UNT because of our coaching. Play calling is what kills this team. Willis has happy feet and often times he'll run loose before waiting for a play to develop. The run game is there but not utilized, and you never know. Todd Dodge could come out swinging. It's tough to have this 'amazing' system he had in high school and run it well against a top 10 team like OU. Against SMU, a team they beat last year, the system might click. I could be way wrong (and believe me, I hope I am) and SMU could come out fired up and drop 40+ points. Bottom line is, the offense is going to carry this team this year, and until PB and Co. unleash them, we aren't going to win, whether it's against UNT or Rice.

this is coach bennett's 6th season on the hilltop, we seem to be going backwards with tech. anyone else interested (besides mommys and daddys) in going to lubbock next season? have we seen anything......to make you think we will not once again; be on the wrong end of records being set or broken? things should start getting better though, now that we are dropping DOWN in competition levels. we are nervous about a team that just got 79 points put on them! now thats progress people!

We have purchased plane tickets for the Ark State and Southern Miss games.

We have not yet purchased game tickets for those games and we would love to have a "snob" sitting with us in those hostile environments.

(ps: Big Horse will be joining us for the Ark State game)

Of course the SMU north contingent from Little Rock will also be there..at lweast I assume pnoyte and mrydel will be going. We shold make it back to Little Rock in time to party in the River Market (for you guys staying at the Marriott).
